German island of Rügen on the Baltic Sea has the largest hotel in the world – there are more than 10,000 rooms inside. However, for 70 years from the time of its construction it remained untouched by tourists. Hotel was constructed between 1936 and 1939. It was built for the common German workers, to rest, get sun rest and enjoy fresh air. The locals called the hotels “Colossus” because of its enormous size.
